Edward Lee "Eddie" Sachs, 76, a resident of Ashland passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024, at his home.

Eddie was born on June 9, 1947, in Columbia, the son of Leroy Edward Sachs and Billie Jean Sappington. He is survived by his wife Donna Allee Sachs, whom he married on June 14, 1969, in Columbia, MO.

Eddie’s passion for entrepreneurship blossomed early on in his career when he started working at Gerbes Supermarket. It was there that he met his future business partner Adron Perry and embarked on the journey of success. He dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the growth and prosperity of their business endeavors. Outside of work, Eddie cherished moments spent with his family and friends. Upon retirement, he found joy in playing golf and exploring new destinations. However, his heart was always drawn back to the family place at The Lake of the Ozarks, where he enjoyed cruising the waters aboard his boat and creating lasting memories with loved ones.
