Neta Fay Pauley

Neta Fay Pauley, 68, of Ashland passed away October 20, 2024, at Jefferson City Manor.

Neta was born in Whoop-up, Missouri at the family home on December 2, 1955, a daughter of Robert and Mildred Purcell Pauley. She persevered and worked hard to be a graduate of Southern Boone High School in Ashland. Neta was an enthusiastic fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals. She had an innate knowledge of baseball trivia especially when it came to her much-loved Missouri baseball teams. Neta enjoyed traveling with her family, going fishing at the lake and loved going to local sporting events with her dad.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Nettie Ramsdell and husband, Wilson of Hartsburg and Nancy Ellen Nichols and husband, Melvin of Ashland; two nieces; three nephews; six great nieces; five great nephews; and three great great nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Richard Pauley and a nephew, Brent Pauley.

Graveside services honoring Neta’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at New Salem Cemetery in Ashland with family friend Pastor Jim Smith officiating.

Memorial contributions in memory of Neta are suggested to New Salem Cemetery.
