Sheila June Parsons

Sheila June Parsons, 67, a resident of Holts Summit, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at her home. 

Sheila was born on July 6, 1956, in Fulton, the daughter of William Allen Lee Atchison and Darlene Bryon Atchison. 

Sheila was a loving soul who loved nothing more than to help people. She enjoyed cooking and this love took her to cooking and waitressing in several restaurants. She enjoyed playing the guitar as well as singing, and spending time with her dog Baby. She loved nothing more in this life than her family and taking care of them. 

She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by three children, Leonard Taylor of Columbia, Eric Parsons and wife Keri of Kansas City, Amy Parsons of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren, Malina Taylor, Tia Ortmeyer and husband Christian, Christian Taylor, Cody Parsons and Collin Yardly; two great grandchildren, Tyler Ortmeyer and Connor Ortmeyer; two sisters, Cindy Brown of Fulton and Dee Baker and husband Brian of Holts Summit; one aunt, Geneva Gomez of Kansas City; her companion Charles Fry of Holts Summit. 

Sheila was preceded in death by parents; husband, Ronnie Parsons; two sons, Timmy Taylor and Billy Lee Taylor; one sister, Marlene Atchison; one brother, William Ray Atchison. 

A celebration of life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Robinson-Yager Funeral Home with a memorial visitaiton being held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
